For 2014 fall/winter, Levi’s subsidiary Commuter label continues to present rider-friendly pieces propelled by style and functionality. Looking to a mix of technical and traditional fabrics in its repertoire, the collection includes the Packable Shell Jacket, Rib Inset Sweatshirt, and Denim Trucker which draws inspiration in its cut from classic trucker jackets, while classic denim jeans feature reflective and heat-sealed tape at the out seams of the pants. While originally designed for cycling, the collection has since evolved beyond the sport, incorporating outdoor design elements seen across a selection of water resistant garments. The collection is starting to drop and new pieces will continue to come out this summer.

Coinciding with the launch of its 2014 Commuter Collection, Levi’s has announcing its summer Commuter Workspace series taking place in London, New York(Brooklyn) and Los Angeles — a project which invites commuters to connect and share creative ideas over coffee, music, and cultural programming, while also offering repair service provided by local bike mechanics.

In 2011 a coorporation between bike builder Bianchi and fashion label Strellson came up with a fashionable single speed bike. This clean, black, steel Bianchi pista based bike was inspired by cities like New York, London and Tokyo. The succes of the bike at the time made both parties decide to build another bike, this time in white. This photo was taken during the ‘Rolling Style- White edition’ campagne in The Big Apple, with well suited Strellson models. It makes you dream of the sunny days!
