Victoire Cycles City Bike

Taking inspiration from a townie with double seat stays that Tom Donhou built a while back,Victoire Cycles constructed this gentleman’s bike with a similar arrangement. It’s a one-off custom frame, just all part of the service from the Clermont-Ferrand workshop.
Jacques works at a public relations agency in Paris and was rather taken with Allana’s Donhou townie, and requested the same double seat stay tubes. It’s not just a visual cue: the rear triangle, combined with twin top tubes, produces a stiff, strong and reliable frame.
A custom stem and fork was matched to the fillet-brazed frame, split with S&S couplings, allowing Jacques to transport it in the back of his MINI. Ghisallo fenders and wooden rims, laced to a Victoire proprietary hub in the front and a SRAM Automatix hub in the rear, provide a lovely contrast.
