INDUSTRY x Ti Cycles “SOLID” Bike

Portland-based design consultancy
INDUSTRY recently teamed up with Ti Cycles to create their vision of the ultimate urban commuter bike. Dubbed “SOLID,” the bike features a 3D-printed titanium frame with titanium finish handles and a detachable rack with integrated ABUS lock and strap system. Complementing the premium components are a Light On! DynoLight system, a corresponding “Discover My City” smartphone app that pairs via Bluetooth, integrated haptic feedback system in the handlebars, and an embedded GPS module so you can track your bike should it go missing. Check out the bike above and peep the video below to hear Tinker Hatfield discuss “The Bike Design Project” and Portland’s biking culture.
