以“完美的鄰里自行車”作為核心，FuseProject公司（專門從事工業設計和品牌戰略）與自行車製造商SyCip打造了這一自行車。從實際來看，The Local Bike實際是一輛三輪車，通過前輪支撐的平台，它能運載書籍、雜貨、寵物，乃至小孩。一般來說，貨運自行車相當笨重，但The Local Bike並非如此，它有11段變速以及液壓盤式製動器，FuseProject公司還為其追加了許多配件，諸如車燈、門鎖、額外的儲物空間，甚至無線音樂播放器JAMBOX，使得騎車的路上多了不少樂趣。

Local is the name of the new bike from Yves Behar´s design studio Fuseproject in San Francisco, USA. It is actually a tricycle: it has two front wheels - with a platform between the two, it is possible to transport shopping, sports equipment and even children and pets, ensures Behar. Local Bike emerged after several months of searching for a mode of transport that is perfect for daily tasks in the neighborhood. The bike was initially a prototype, but will become reality through the partnership with local firm Sycip.
