In time for the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan, Paul Smith plays host to a limited edition collection of Vanhulsteijn bikes. The presentation’s centerpiece is the “Urushi” bicycle, which sees the brand’s high-quality craftsmanship combined with traditional Japanese techniques. A urushi lacquer—derived from the hardened sap of the Japanese lacquer tree—is combined with gold leaf and applied to nine limited edition bicycles for a one of a kind finish.
Prices are available upon request, and the bikes will be on display until April 27that Paul Smith Via Manzoni 30 in Milan.
