House of Vans - London's First Indoor Skatepark

吼!! 快來看這個太屌了!! 倫敦朋友SEND給我們看的，這個即將完成的第一個室內滑板場。場地為3000平方米空間大位於臭名昭著的老維克隧道在滑鐵盧和將作為一個音樂表演場地，畫廊，藝術家工作室，咖啡廳，電影院，酒吧和滑板公園。

當然就命名為House of Vans，在室內的滑版公園真的好棒，好想看他完工的樣子耶~~~
開幕式當晚是2014年8月9日，朋友們想買機票衝去了嗎!!!!!!

Legendary skate mag Sidewalk has given us a preview of the latest venture from Vans - London's very first indoor skatepark. Entitled The House of Vans, the huge 3,000 square meter space is located in the infamous Old Vic Tunnels at Waterloo and will act as a music venue, gallery, artists studios, cafe, cinema, bar, and skatepark.

Four studios in Tunnel #2 will be made available to emerging and established artists, free of charge, and they will also be given the opportunity to have an exhibition at the end of their tenancy. Tunnel #3 will be an 850-capacity gig space aiming to uphold a rich heritage in music and events.

The remaining two tunnels will be dedicated to London's only permanent indoor skatepark, bringing together a street course, mini ramp section, and a deep concrete bowl. Elsewhere a cafe, bar, and cinema space will allow for some time to relax. Speaking about the project, Jeremy de Maillard, VP of Marketing at Vans, said:

"The House of Vans London is the physical manifestation of the cultures and creativity at the heart of the Vans brand. London is the perfect city to expand this original concept first established in Brooklyn and it’s an honour to take over this iconic venue from the Old Vic. We’re looking forward to building on this legacy, working closely with the local communities and key stakeholders involved in the project."
